Do & Don'ts  

Do’s for the EOT Crane

 ·         Ensure the battery healthiness of the crane remote.

·         Use all necessary PPE’s while working on Crane.

·         Do a visual inspection of the crane rope & drum condition.

·         Ensure that no other person should be traveling on the crane gangway.

·         Ensure the status of load testing of the crane.

·         Check all the operations of the crane & note down the abnormalities, if any.

·         Ensure proper functioning of all the limit switches as per relevant operations.

·         Check all the gearbox & oil conditions.

·         Be in proper communication with the co-operating colleague.

·         After completion of the work, ensure that the C-hook of the crane should be at a safe height compared to adjacent equipment.

·         Always keep the remote at its assigned place while the crane handover.

 

Don’ts for the EOT Crane

 

 ·         Don’t lift/lower the crane C-Hook beyond the set limit switch.

·         Don’t operate the crane intermittently.

·         Don’t operate the crane in Fast Mode at extreme LT & CT positions.

·         Don’t guide/communicate with the crane operator while standing below the lifted load.

·         Don’t touch the moving parts of the crane unless the relevant power isolation is ensured.
